happy national rosé day!

Yep, it’s a thing. Just go with it and let the pink start popping! I’ll be doing a few amazing ones each month this summer to help you find your new favorite.

  • Domaine Lafond: Tavel is the baller spot of rosé – it’s all they produce. Get this one with juicy raspberry laced with great minerality.
  • Cape Mentelle: A blend of Shiraz, Grenache, Tempranillo and Sangiovese from Margaret River, Australia, filled with juicy watermelon and light raspberry. Loved this one.
  • Chateau Pesquié Terrasses: Provence style blend of 50% Cinsault, 40% Grenache, and 10% Syrah. Light and refreshing, gorgeous watermelon and white strawberry with a touch of lemon peel.
  • Kenwood: Love Pinot Noir rosés. This Sonoma one has lots of strawberry with a creamier mouthfeel but still good acidity.

Let me know which ones you love! I’ll be giving my top pink picks every month this summer – sign up so you can get them first!

  1. Huff Estates in Ontario”s Prince Edward County wine region has a wonderful off dry rose with an almost coppery colour. It’s widely available at Ontario restaurants and wine stores. Roses are also extremely good from any of Nova Scotia’s wineries. Their climate and selection of hybrid grapes make fruity and floral off-dry roses both still and sparkling.
