ICYMI: weekly wine tweets

If you’re not following grapefriend on Twitter, you may have missed these amazing grape gems this week!

Nelson Mandela’s daughter and granddaughter are launching House of Mandela wines. His granddaughter Tukwini Mandela said: “The wine movement is growing.” Ohhhhhhhhhh yeah it is!One&Only Cape Town: Lunch To Benefit The Mandela Children's Foundation

Not sure how I missed this Clicquot Airstream thing, but it looks pretty awesome and is rolling up to a Keith Haring opening. Then Veuve tweeted me back saying to stay tuned for more details – so I’m hoping this means the bubbles on wheels are coming near me very soon. veuve airstream

The Packers released Charles Woodson. I’m just waiting for him to release more Twenty Four wine, since I’ve never had it. At Winemakers Wednesday in Napa, he said, “At some point I do plan on having a residence here. I love it so much. I love to be here.”

And I got to try this classic Tempranillo-based wine. Cinnamon, black pepper, old cherry, delicious black cherry finish – and only $500:photo (7)

See ya on the Twitter!
