It’s Thursday, and here’s what I’m throwing back:
There are so many well-known and well-marketed Champagnes in the 40-buck range. So when I find one that’s the same price but so gorgeous and unknown, I gotta tell grapefriends about it.
Gorgeous nutty brioche! You could smell it for hours (ok, minutes, because you’ll want to start drinking). This one’s a blend of the 2001 and 2002 vintages and it’s 85% Pinot Noir and 15% Chardonnay (I love my Blanc de Noirs!).
Also, it’s organic and biodynamic – just preppin’ you for Green Week next week!
Seriously, go buy this and drink up! So so good. $45 here.
Great find!! Can’t wait to give it a try.
Let me know if you do!
I have never had a Blanc de Noir and certainly want to try one. Glad to have this recommendation!
Definitely try to see if it’s your style – it’s my favorite!
This champagne is $80 in Canada! 😦
That’s a bummer! Take a trip and bring a case back 🙂
