Wine lips were a big trend last year and it’s not going away. That’s because designers are obviously as obsessed with wine as I am! And the beauty companies too – so many grapey names for their products it’s like my dream come true.

Zac Posen girls wore MAC’s Vino lip pencil and Burgundy lipmix

The matte burgundy Phillip Lim lips were actually done with eyeliner: NARS Mambo

Alice & Olivia did a deep red with Stila’s Stay All Day Lip Vinyl Gloss in Merlot (though I do have to point out this is nothing like the color of actual Merlot which is far more purpley-)

At Derek Lam, lips were stained with an Estée Lauder lacquer called Electric Wine

And at Alexander Wang, they even gave the models “cognac”-colored ponytails! (He should do a D’Ussé collabo with Jay-Z!)Cheers, runway grapefriends! Hope you all celebrated with a glass of whatever product name you used.
