Our glasses are getting pinker by the day, and not just because National Rosé Day is June 14. Here are three great ones to kick off the wave:
- Maison Lorgeril Ô de Rose: A Languedoc rosé I loved, so rare! But it hit the right light lychee notes with 60% Grenache, 30% Syrah, and 10% Viognier. $19.99
- Chateau Gassier Le Pas du Moine – 350: I first had the Esprit at my favorite drinking spot Cafe Luxembourg, and just tried the new mineral-berry Le Pas du Moine, with its very cool hexagonal bottle that’s supposed to represent the peaks of the Sainte-Victoire mountain in Provence (Bonus: Doesn’t roll on its side in the fridge!). $30
- Roseblood from Chateau d’Estoublon: While mostly Grenache, Syrah, and Cinsault, a small amount of Rolle and Semillon give a splash of freshness to the blend. $27
