happy national rosé day!

Our glasses are getting pinker by the day, and not just because National Rosé Day is June 14. Here are three great ones to kick off the wave:

  • Maison Lorgeril Ô de Rose: A Languedoc rosé I loved, so rare! But it hit the right light lychee notes with 60% Grenache, 30% Syrah, and 10% Viognier. $19.99
  • Chateau Gassier Le Pas du Moine – 350: I first had the Esprit at my favorite drinking spot Cafe Luxembourg, and just tried the new mineral-berry Le Pas du Moine, with its very cool hexagonal bottle that’s supposed to represent the peaks of the Sainte-Victoire mountain in Provence (Bonus: Doesn’t roll on its side in the fridge!). $30
  • Roseblood from Chateau d’Estoublon: While mostly Grenache, Syrah, and Cinsault, a small amount of Rolle and Semillon give a splash of freshness to the blend. $27
