#yoleaux winners!

The holidays are long over, but we look back on them happily – especially these people, who won the grapefriend #yoleaux contest! The holidays are a time for traditions, but I challenged people to do something they’ve never done before. The prize: an awesome Yoleaux shirt, tote bag, and chocolates from Wines of Bordeaux.

I, for one, held the first office Fizzmas, popping 28 bottles of bub for everyone to sample and guess which was the most expensive. Fun fact: sparkling wine in Bordeaux is called Crémant de Bordeaux, and is made from Semillon, Sauvignon Blanc, and Muscadelle grapes.

Here are the grapefriends who tagged me in these first-time festivities and won!

Belle hosted her first theme party. Her White Christmas fest included a cranberry and rosemary infused White Christmas sangria, plus Veuve Clicquot, Kim Crawford Sauvignon Blanc, Trivento Cab-Malbec, and Shiner Cheer for beerfriends. Obv, I love that she gave me the whole wine list!

Megan had a Christmastastrophe when their tree tipped over. But, she got to decorate the tree twice for the first time ever! #BrightSide – Love it.

Always up for some wine-fused game night fun. The grapes made Lorena start laughing and loving Pictionary for the first time ever.

Rather than running across the finish line, Amy drove herself past it. This is my kind of marathoning! She came in last, but to be fair this was her 31st half-marathon in 2 years. Wow – who deserves a glass of wine and a Yoleaux prize package more?

Another holiday-themed first was this awesome wine-inspired menorah!! Jen pointed out the grape details and popped a Chateau Motte Maucourt.

Keep on Yoleaux-ing, grapefriends! Some of the winners sent me pics in their shirts (with wine, obv) – don’t they look adorable?
