We’ve had a lot of Albariño here in Rias Baixas, and it’s been interesting to try different styles. This Señor da Folla Verde is a blend of 70% Albariño, 15% Loureira, and 15% Treixadura. Yellow and green apple with tons of white floral. So pretty!
And, was fantastic with our piping hot gambas al ajillo.
Salud!
As you sip your way along the shores of Rias Baixas look out for the pilgrims hobbling along the final trails of the medieval 750km Camino de Santiago into Santiago de Compostela. This cathedral spire city has also become an inspiration to cuisine. Pilgrims hungry for celebration challenge a plethora of chefs with their polyglot palates. The infamous vieras, scallop shells, speckle every inch of the trail. See the sun go down over the Atlantic at Finesterre, the World´s End until Columbus sighted the New World in 1492.
We started out there – very cool!
bom post!
Gracias!
Albarinos are my new favourite white! I’ll have to try this one!
