Warby Parker is a very grapefriendy company. They have lots of happy hours and wine tastings for employees, and even have glasses that come in Pinot Noir color. Today they’re launching their new 1922 Collection with glasses and sunnies named after Duke Ellington, Scott Joplin and Cole Porter.

The 20s sucked for wine since America was in the middle of our darkest period: Prohibition! But no winemaking meant tons of underground cocktailing. And the new 1922 Collection is very Cocktail Friendy! Not only is Cole Porter brilliant and one of my favorite songwriters ever, but he’s the one who gets Warby glasses named the “Whiskey” and the “Gimlet.” Love.

Btw, the best gimlet ever is at the Ivy in LA:

fresh mint leaves
crushed ice
1 shot vodka
½ shot simple syrup
fresh lime juice

Crush the mint leaves in a metal shaker. Add the ice, vodka, simple syrup, and lime juice, and shake. Strain into a highball glass over crushed ice. Garnish with fresh mint.

Then put on your Warby Parker gimlet sunnies and hide from the paparazzi.
