If you’re not following grapefriend on Twitter, you may have missed these great grapey gems this week!
No seriously, these people sell an abalone Grenache Blanc for $25:

My Glossi friends needed some spring wine suggestions and of course grapefriend was at the ready! Look for a spring wine post and a Glossi on it soon!
@glossi not only is #winewednesday a big deal for grapefriends we love lots for spring: Grenache Blanc, Gruner Veltliner, Beaujolais & rosé!

Went to go hear Jancis Robinson, one of the world’s most renowned wine critics, speak at the 92nd St Y on Wednesday. Little did I know that morning she basically tried to steal my job wine-writing for Cosmo by suggesting some grapes to Cosmo’s editor in chief! 😉
Haha Jancis trying to nab my job! @joannacoles @jancisrobinson cc: @abbygardner @kgreenpr

This was an interesting article about how people’s expectations of a wine (like what grape it is or how much it costs) can inform what they taste in a wine. All I’ll say is blind tasting is hard, y’all.
wine expectation: 54 ppl thought white wine with a few drops of added food coloring was actually red wine @lifehacker lifehacker.com/5990737/why-we…

Some people slag celeb wines, but apparently some aren’t bad at all.
Celeb mktg may be good or bad but legit wine sources said Brad & Angie’s rosé, Yao Ming’s Cab & Ommegang’s Game of Thrones beer are all good
