The Palace confirmed this morning that Kate’s pregnant, and it’s been a social media bombardment ever since (the Royal Fetus even already has its own Twitter account). So even though she can’t be graping it up for the next few months, I can already hear the rest of the royals and every tabloid magazine popping corks. But what to celebrate with? No brainer: there are actually official royal Champagnes. British Royal Warrants can be granted by Elizabeth II, Prince Philip the Duke of Edinburgh and the Prince of Wales (aka Grandpa Charles!) to companies, and let these companies advertise that they’re suppliers to the royal family.

As for which Champs have this royal warrant, there are 6: Bollinger, GH Mumm, Laurent-Perrier, Louis Roederer, Pol Roger, and Veuve Clicquot. All these have grapefriend’s stamp of approval too (the Queen sneaky calls me to make sure).
