Oooooooh look who won the French Open! Not much of a surprise but still it’s quite a feat, especially with the rain delay and everything. Surely, it earns Rafa some grapey goodness. We could easily just pop open some Champagne – the region’s about an hour from Paris. But I think it would be much more fun and apropos to go with the signature cocktail they were serving at Roland Garros’ Le Bar Macarons & Champagne!
The drink, called the Ace Royal, has been called “the best cocktail in the world” (well, at least by the bartender serving it there). It’s 2 parts basil syrup, 2 parts cucumber syrup, 1 part lime juice, and Moet & Chandon champagne.
Sounds amazing! All this refreshing fizz can be yours for 10 Euros, although if you’re Rafa you’d probably be able to get it gratuit.
Á votre santé!
Look at the color of those Macaroons – looks like they have been dipped in paint!
I know! They’re “tournament colors”
