Confession: I am not a fan of sitcoms. They are usually SO lame, and I’m probably the only girl who didn’t like Friends. But lately I’m getting turned around with Modern Family and this season’s The New Girl. Zooey Deschanel is just so freaking adorable and I actually laugh and now have it DVR’d!
Other reasons I love Zooey: She has longer hair than I do, bigger eyes and she’s wearing a tiara in the “What Are You Doing New Year’s Eve?” little video (big fan of tiaras – used to wear one at my birthday parties (adult years) and she reminded me that I need to bring that back). So in our fave US Weekly column’s style:
She’s bubbly! She’s peachy! And just a whole lot of fun!
She’s Prosecco!
Had to go bubbly for tomorrow’s impending festivities, and she’s really the perfect celeb match.
Prosecco, as we know from this post, is made from the Prosecco grape in the Charmat method, where the secondary fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks instead of the bottle like Champagne. Most you’ll find are pretty cheap, like $10-15 bucks, which makes it a great party take-along. But there are higher-quality Prosecco’s that come from the Valdobiaddene area (which is fun to say) and the very best supposedly come from a steep, tiny hill called Cartizze.
Anyway, enjoy ringing in the New Year tomorrow night with whatever bubbly you choose (or is served to you)! I hope it’s good and your drinking companions are even better!
I love the fact that you don’t have to know much about wine to really enjoy your posts! They are such fun to read, well done! Will be pouring myself a glass and checking out your blog more often now! ; )
Oh cool, that’s always my hope 🙂
