pop grape

the wizard of wine

“Winemaking and filmmaking are two great art forms. In both cases, you have to start with top notch raw materials whether it’s the land or a script.”

That’s what Francis Ford Coppola when he came out with his Director’s Great Movies collection and made this Merlot, with grapes from Sonoma and Monterey counties. I love the velvety texture of Merlot, which is classically blended with Cabernet Sauvignon in Bordeaux. I recently got my dad one from the Pomerol region, and if you have any good witches in your life maybe they’ll splurge on you too for the August 25 anniversary.
