Earth Day isn’t til April 22, and grapefriend will once again be doing Green Week. But as a little prepper, we’re having a happy hour wine chat with the DeMartino winemaker tonight. They’re in the Maipo Valley in Chile, and they were the continent’s first carbon neutral winery.
They have three new organic wines in the US: Estate Organic 2011 Cabernet Sauvignon, 2011 Carmenère and 2012 Sauvignon Blanc. All are under $15 and for every bottle sold in April, $1 will be donated to the Natural Resources Defense Council.
I’m doing a virtual tasting with winemaker Marcelo Retamal and Snooth tonight at 8pmEST. Join on Snooth or follow the #GoGreen or #SnoothWine hashtags on Twitter!
