Tawny port with roasted nuts is absolute perfection. It’s often described as having a roasted almond flavor, so pair it up with some actual roasted almonds and you can imagine how awesome it is. Throw in a fig or two, and you’re good for lots of end of meal happiness.

Nice touch for the meal! This year, I made (non-traditional) turkey cutlets Marsala with brussel sprouts dijonnaise and some roasted cauliflower. Washed it down with an Oreana (Santa Barbara) red. No complaints from the guests.
