In other sport GOAT news, David Beckham gave Lionel Messi a Methuselah (equal to 8 bottles) of 2008 Catena Zapata Malbec Argentino for his 37th birthday. 

Voted the World’s Best Winery of 2023, Catena makes some truly incredible wines. Made from the best vines on the estate, the Zapata grapes are hand-picked and the production is low. According to Catena’s notes on the 2008, “It combines density and sweetness on the one hand, with gripping flavors of tobacco, dark berries, spices and minerals; a palate-staining finish dominated by sweet black and blue fruits.” 

The 2008 would probably go for about $3200. GOATs are only GOATs if they’re also grapefriends.
